Our Founders’ Story
Steven, Neil, and Rick founded the company with a shared passion for innovation and a deep desire to make a positive impact on businesses through new product development. With decades of combined experience in bringing products to market, from concept through to manufacturing, they have seen firsthand how great ideas can transform brands and industries. Their expertise in navigating the complexities of design, sourcing, and production led them to create a company that not only delivers exceptional products but also empowers businesses to grow and succeed.
Together, Steven, Neil, and Rick are driven by the belief that the right product, supported by the right process, can elevate a brand and open new opportunities. By founding Product&Brands, they set out to leverage their combined expertise to help more businesses turn ideas into reality, making a lasting impact on both clients and the markets they serve..

Steven Blustein is an entrepreneur/innovator extraordinaire and the Co-Founder of Product&Brands, PrideBites Pet Products, PICKLETILE™, and Gembah Inc. He is an expert in product development and supply chain strategy. Over his career, Blustein has owned and operated businesses that have designed, manufactured and sold millions of consumer products from all over the world. He is well versed in foreign manufacturing strategy and has participated in every aspect of the product creation journey.
In 2016, Blustein secured investment from Lori Grenier and Robert Herjavec on ABC’s Shark Tank. He is also a past recipient of the Pet Industry's "40 Under 40" award, and has successfully led both PrideBites and Gembah to earn spots on the Inc. 5000 list.
Blustein graduated from the University of Kansas with his Masters in Tax and is trilingual in English, Chinese and Spanish. Steven is married to his beautiful wife Kellie, and together they have three sons JB, Tanner, and Stetson and their furry children Daisy and Minnie.

Neil Macqueen is a leading designer in the consumer products world with more than eighteen years of experience creating market defining products. He spent ten years at Dyson, where he led innovation teams responsible for ideating and developing some of the most recognisable products in the world. Neil is named on eighty nine patents and that number continues to grow as he helps clients turn ideas into meaningful products.
His favourite saying is “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication,” and that mindset shapes everything he does. Neil believes the best products solve real problems beautifully, without unnecessary complexity. He brings this calm, thoughtful and user focused approach into every client partnership.
Today, Neil leads our design projects and oversees our international operations, ensuring quality, creativity and consistency from first idea through to production. His deep experience, passion for innovation and genuine love of great design are at the heart of everything we do.

Rick Lundbom is a seasoned entrepreneur, operator, investor, and a pioneer in e-commerce. In 1999, he launched one of the first digitally native vertical brands, scaling it to over $100 million before exiting to a public company. With more than 25 years of experience in e-commerce, global sourcing, and product development, Rick has mastered the entire value chain, from product creation to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Since the 1990s, he has developed and sourced products across Europe and Asia, utilizing a data-driven, customer-focused approach to fuel brand growth. His success is deeply rooted in the talented teams he has built, whose contributions have been essential to his ventures.
Under Rick’s leadership, his companies have earned seven Inc. 5000 awards, five Austin Fast 50 honors, and multiple recognitions as a Top 250 Internet Retailer. He excels in crafting high-growth strategies and optimizing global supply chains to consistently deliver results for both his businesses and partners.
Rick holds a finance degree from the University of Texas and is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization, a global community of top CEOs. Married to his college sweetheart, Stefanie, they have two incredible daughters and live in Austin, TX. Outside of work, Rick enjoys spending time on the lake, cooking, traveling the world, and cheering on the Texas Longhorns.
